RFA12
It has been quite a progression over the last couple of years for Resurrection Fighting Alliance. They celebrated their two year anniversary on December 16th and are ready to kick off 2014 by returning to Los Angeles  for RFA 12 on January 24th.

Headlining the event will be a fight for the vacant RFA featherweight championship as undefeated rising stars Brian Ortega (7-0) meets Keoni Koch (5-0). Koch holds four wins by way of submission and will be making his highly anticipated RFA debut. His opponent looks to build off his RFA 9 win over Jordan Rinaldi. Ortega also holds four submission wins under his belt.

Ed Soares announced yesterday that the bantamweight title will be on the line as well at the Shrine Auditorium.

“Brian Ortega will fight Keoni Koch for the vacant featherweight title, while Pedro Munhoz will defend his bantamweight crown against Billy Daniels. On Friday, January 24th, two of them will be leaving as champions and the other two will be leaving with their first loss.”

Pedro Munhoz (9-0) edged Jeff Curran back in August to capture the bantamweight title. It was a close five round affair that saw Munhoz pull off the split decision win. He will defend that title against Billy Daniels (7-0). Daniels will be making his promotional debut and comes in with five submission wins under his belt.  This fight will serve as the co-main event of the evening.

RFA 12’s main card will air live on AXS TV. For more information on this event stay close to ProMMAnow (www.prommanow.com)
