It isn’t always normal to for Dana White or UFC officials to disclose financial information so it may have come as a shock when details emerged last night on FOX Sports Live as to how the new 115 pound additions to the roster will be paid ahead of The Ultimate Fighter.
So how much? How much do these gals get to bank for staying healthy and preparing for possibly the biggest opportunities of their career. The bulk of the roster will get $32,000. A nice sum of money to pretty much ensure they will be ready when the time comes. There was one exception to that rule. Current Invicta FC champion Carla Esparza will deposit $40,000 into her account. A nice gesture in recognizing the champion.
The current stable of fighters will be joined by five additional hopefuls that will earn their way into the show through tryouts. Here is a list of the current strawweights.
