Putting a microphone in front of a Diaz brother is almost instant entertainment. Following Nate Diaz’s first round dismantling of Gray Maynard this past Saturday at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale, Jon Anik stepped in to fulfill his duties and get the lightweight’s thought on the win. Diaz didn’t really answer any of the questions but he did talk about his team, his spot in the lightweight division and his needing to leave.
Diaz got the win, snapping a two fight skid. After being taken down early in the fight he was able to land shot after shot before the referee was forced to stop the fight. Gray Maynard has now lost back to back fights in devastating fashion. He was knocked out by TJ Grant and took quite a bit of punishment from Diaz.
