Team Rousey’s Rakoczy would have been probably the last person you would have picked to be in this situation. Coming into the season with only one win in MMA, the former boxing champion surprised everyone with her submission win to get into the house and were impressed with her TKO of Roxanne Modafferi that landed her a spot in the semi-finals.
It was most likely the fight of the season when Team Tate’s Raquel Pennington scored a decision win over Jessamyn Duke. The fight was a three round battle that saw Pennington get the victory and move on to face Rakoczy. Pennington is gritty and is most likely the favorite going into the match up.
