Mike Russow

World Series of Fighting may have bolstered their roster with another UFC veteran in heavyweight Mike Russow. MMAJunkie.com broke the news earlier with a pending announcement from the promotion expected.

Russow, a police officer from Chicago, started his UFC career with four straight victories including an amazing knockout at UFC 114 over Todd Duffee. He maintained his career in law enforcement while training for competition.

He most recently lost back to back fights to Fabricio Werdum and Shawn Jordan, both by TKO. He still holds an impressive record of 15-3 with one no contest. He will join a World Series of Fighting roster that includes Andre Arlovski, Mike Kyle and Anthony Johnson in the heavyweight division.

World Series of Fighting returns on October 26th with their first championship on the line when Josh Burkman faces Steve Carl for the welterweight title.
