It was announced yesterday that Michael Bisping was forced to withdraw from his UFC Fight Night 30 bout with Mark Munoz on October 26th. It appears an eye injury has sidelined the middleweight who was set to return to his native England.

Lyoto Machida has accelerated his timeline to make his middleweight debut and will replace  Michael Bisping in Manchester. Machida was scheduled to make his drop to the 185 pound division on November 6th against Tim Kennedy at UFC Fight for the Troops 3 at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.

Bisping’s manager informed Ariel Helwani that surgery was not required but he was likely out of action for five to six months. Meanwhile no replacement has been announced for Machida.
