In the co-headliner, interim bantamweight champ Renan Barao looks to extend his 30-fight win streak as he defends his title against former WEC champ Eddie Wineland.

It all kicks off  with preliminary card action on Facebook at 6 p.m. ET (3 p.m. PT), moving to FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) and the Pay-Per-View main card at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT). Nandor Guelmino vs. Daniel Omielanczuk

Round 1 – Heavyweights. Touch gloves. Trade leg kicks. Omielanczuk goes high with the next one, then they trade low kicks again. Guelmino with a right hand. Omielanczuk with a side kick to the thigh, couple more high kicks and a left hand. He ducks a right from Guelmino. Body shot from Omielanczuk, high kick — being very aggressive. Pushes Guelmino to the cage. Guelmino turns him around, and Omielanczuk turns him back around. Ref wants action. Breaks them up. Right from Guelmino, Omielanczuk pushes him to the cage, they trade knees in the clinch. Knees to the thigh and a foot stomp from Omielanczuk. Guelmino turns him around, but not for long. Ref breaks them up. Front kick, right from Guelmino, then a front kick that causes Omielanczuk to stumble. Body kick, but Omielanczuk takes him down. Guelmino right back up, being pressed to the cage. PMN sees it 10-9 Omielanczuk.

Round 2 – Touch gloves. They trade kicks. Body shot from Guelmino. They trade body kicks. Big punch combo from Omielanczuk and Guelmino is in trouble. Omielanczuk gets a takedown, Guelmino gets up, eats a knee. Scramble and Guelmino ends up on his back with Omielanczuk in half guard landing ground and pound. Omielanczuk goes for a kimura as Guelmino sweeps him and ends up in side mount. Omielanczuk turtles up and Guelmino rides his back from the side, lands some punches to body and head. Guelmino takes top control now in half guard. Big elbow. Omielanczuk scrambles, rolls for a leg lock, ends up on the bottom with Guelmino in half guard. Omielanczuk looking for a kimura but Guelmino easily escapes and lands an elbow. PMN sees it 10-9 Guelmino.

Round 3 – They trade kicks. Body kick from Guelmino. Leg kick from Omielanczuk buckles Guelmino, then lands a high kick. Both guys tired. Omielanczuk presses him to the cage. They trade knees. Ref breaks them up. Front kick from Guelmino. Side kick to the gut. Inside leg kick. Left hand from Omielanczuk. Presses Guelmino to the cage. Body kick from Guelmino. Couple front kicks to the body. Big left hand from Omielanczuk hits Guelmino behind the ear. He lands one more big left hand on the chin, snapping Omielanczuk’s head back and he falls straight to his back. Omielanczuk goes to follow up but this fight is over.

Alex Caceres vs. Roland Delorme

Round 1 – Caceres with a jab, high kick. Leg kick Delorme. Spinning backfist from Caceres. Jab from Delorme. Leg kick Caceres. Jab. Side kick. One two. Leg kick. Caceres with a nice punch combo, slips the counter from Delorme. Caceres showing nice hands but gets tagged with a left hook and goes down. Delorme attacks from the top, Caceres scrambles and takes Delorme’s back. Delorme escape and now has Caceres’ back. Delorme gets both hooks in after some work and looking for the choke. Delorme landing some nice punches trying to soften him up. Caceres controlling an arm momentarily but Delorme still riding his back and landing punches. Delorme ends up in full mount, Caceres scrambles. Only 30 seconds left. Scramble and Caceres ends up on top, back to the feet. Caceres with a one two. Delorme shoots, stuffed. Great fight. PMN sees it 10-9 Delorme.

Round 2 – Jab from Caceres. One two. Hands low though. Body kick. Left hook from Delorme. Caceres light on his feet, snapping the jab. One two. Delorme can find the range. Lands a body shot. They tie up for a minute and Caceres pushes him to the ground. Presses Delorme to the cage, lands a couple knees to the thighs. They separate. Right hook from Caceres, leg kick. Nice left hand. Delorme shoots, Caceres goes for his neck, scramble, Delorme going for Caceres’ neck, back to the feet and Caceres lands a big knee. Delorme drops levels for a single. Caceres gets free. Jab. Left straight. One two. One two. Right hook. Right from Delorme. Right hook. Nice right from Delorme, he shoots, stuffed. He presses Caceres to the cage with 30 seconds to go. Caceres turns him around, lands a couple shots before they return to the center. Leg kick from Caceres. PMN sees it 10-9 Caceres.

Round 3 – Touch gloves. Leg kick inside from Caceres. Superman punch. Right hook counter. Delorme pressing. Nice one two counter from Caceres. Clinch against the cage, trade knees. Caceres with a body lock from the back. Delorme escapes to the center. One two, jab from Caceres. Another one two. His combos are looking nice, leg kick. Right hook, slips Delorme’s attack. Nice three punch body/head combo from Caceres. Nice right uppercut, left hand combo from Caceres. Delorme goes for the takedown, stuffed. Caceres jumps on his back, lands some punches. Delorme back to his feet with 90 seconds left. Caceres lands more punches, leg kick. Delorme with a counter right. Nice spinning back kick to the gut knocks Delorme back. Low then high kick from Caceres and Delorme times a takedown with 30 seconds left. Caceres pretty much stifles the attack. PMN sees it 10-9 for Caceres and the fight 29-28 for Caceres.

Michel Prazeres vs. Jesse Ronson

Round 1 – Dominant first round for Prazeres (stream fail).

Round 2 –  Prazeres with a couple takedowns, takes Ronson’s back. Ronson escapes to his feet but not for long as Prazeres puts him back down, Ronson’s back to the cage. Ronson gets to one knee. Prazeres holding a front headlock. Ronson back up, lands a knee to the body. They square up. Ronson with an inside leg kick, body kick. Right hook from Prazeres, then puts Ronson back down, looking for his back as Ronson has wrist control from his knees. Ronson gets to his feet. Prazeres presses him to the cage. Knees from Prazeres to the body. Ronson returns same. Escapes to the center. They square up. Left to body from Ronson, lands a nice left head kick, body kick follows. Straight left, right. Prazeres shoots, stuffed. Body kick from Ronson. Prazeres shoots for a double with under half a minute to go. Ronson stuffs it. Leg kick. PMN sees it 10-9 Ronson.

Round 3 – Prazeres’ corner tells him he needs to set up the double leg. Touch gloves. Front kick to the body from Ronson. Then a front leg side kick. Step-in jab, then a big uppercut. Right hook from Prazeres. Leg kick from Ronson, using some nice fakes. Head kick from Ronson. Prazeres shoots, stuffed easily. Breathing hard. Nice right hand from Prazeres, another. He catches a leg kick, goes for the overhand right. Misses. Prazeres is tired. He shoots, presses Ronson to the cage. Half the round down. Ronson escapes the takedown and Prazeres is laying on his back now, getting his thighs kicked. Ronson lets him up now. Nice left from Ronson. Body shot. Leg kick Prazeres. Left from Ronson. Takedown from Prazeres with under a minute to go. On top in half guard. Ronson gives up his back, gets to his feet as Prazeres hangs on for control. Big slam from Ronson before the bell and he unloads some punches. Hey, I like it. I give it Ronson 10-9 and the fight 29-28.

Renee Forte vs. John Makdessi

Round 1 – Forte goes high with a kick. Right hand. Inside leg kick from both. Makdessi with another. Right from Forte. Lots of kicks from Forte. Beautiful spinning back kick to the gut from Makdessi knocks Forte backward. Nice counter right hook from Makdessi drops Forte, he follows up with more punches and Forte is all but done. Ref has not stopped it yet so Makdessi continues to unload punches until the ref finally steps in.

Pat Healy vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov

Round 1 – Uppercut and left hook from Nurmagomedov. Healy stalking with left hooks that miss, right to the body. He shoots, stuffed. Right hook Healy. Couple of left hands from Nurmagomedov. Hook to the body from Healy. Step in left uppercut from Nurmagomedov. Leg kick follows. These guys are throwing leather. Both guys using good angles and good head movement and defense. Healy’s face getting marked up a bit. Leg kick from Healy but he pays for it with a couple nice punches from Nurmagomedov. Right to the body from Healy. Nice striking from Nurmagomedov with a leg kick, high kick with a couple punches in-between. Body shot from Healy, Flying knee and left hook from Nurmagomedov. Perfectly timed takedown as Healy comes in swinging.  He does it again after Healy gets back to his feet. Big right hand from Nurmagomedov at the buzzer. PMN sees it 10-9 Nurmagomedov.

Round 2 – Left hook from Nurmagomedov. Healy stalking with body shots as Nurmagomedov retreats, shoots and gets the takedown, jumps on Healy’s back, now presses him to the cage and lands a couple punches as he moves to the center. Healy stalks. Leg kick from Nurmagomedov. Left hook from Healy. Again. Head kick scores. Healy stalks with a left jab, keeping the pressure on. They trade left hooks. Right hook from Healy, left right hooks follow, stalking. Nurmagomedov slowing down. Nurmagomedov tries to drag Healy to the ground, and finally gets him to his knees. Body lock, lands some punches as Healy escapes. They square up. Jab, right hand from Healy. Nurmagomedov scores a takedown with about 20 seconds left, lands a little ground and pound before the bell. PMN sees it 10-9 Nurmagomedov.

Round 3 – Right hook from Healy. Nurmagomedov shoots, stuffed. Nice combo from Nurmagomedov. Healy scores with a counter. Healy shoots, shrugged off. Body shot from Healy. Takedown from Nurmagomedov, he’s working the ground and pound. Healy’s corner yelling at him to get out of there with 3 minutes left. Healy finally gets up but Nurmagomedov picks him up over his shoulder a la Matt Hughes>Frank Trigg, carries him over to his corner for a ride and slams him big time. After a few moments of working Nurmagomedov unloads some nice ground and pound inside full guard. He moves to half guard. Healy tries to sweep. Side mount from Nurmagomedov. Healy gives up his back. Now back to half guard. They scramble before the bell. PMN sees it 10-9 and 30-27 for Nurmagomedov. He will remain undefeated in his pro MMA career.

Francis Carmont vs. Constantinos Philippou

Round 1 – Body kick from Carmont. Leg kick from Costas. Carmont gives one back, then gets a takedown. Costas fighting to get up, gets to one knee. Carmont scoops him back to his butt, Costas back to the cage. Carmont gets one hook in now, looking to take his back fully. Carmont landing some nice punches, goes for the choke but Costas rolls over to his back. Carmont now on top in half guard. Costas gets to full guard, hanging on. Elbow from Carmont. Costas looks for an arm. Carmont moves to side mount. Elbow from the bottom from Costas. Carmont moves to North/South position, now side mount. Costas recovers half guard. Costas goes for an arm, tries for an omoplata. Carmont escapes and drops some hammerfists. Costas recovers full guard. Costas lands a couple upkicks to the face, then locks up an armbar before the bell. Time up. PMN sees it 10-9 for Carmont.

Round 2 – GSP and Firas Zahabi in Carmont’s corner. Carmont flashing the jab. Big leg kick from Costas. Costas flashes a jab then powers through with a perfectly time double leg takedown. Carmont inside full guard. Costas fighting to get to his feet. Carmont looks to take his back, one hook in. Costas rolls to his back. Carmont on top in half guard landing ground and pound. Ref stands them up with 2 minutes to go. Carmont shoots and gets Costas back to the ground for the third time. Carmont on top in half guard, drops an elbow. Carmont stands over Costas and dives in with a punch. He postures up landing more punches. He ends the round on top as Costas holds on. PMN sees it 10-9 Carmont.

Round 3 – Body kick from Carmont. Big takedown from Carmont. Moves into half guard where he works the ground and pound with 3:30 left. Carmont unloading punches. He stands over Costas and Costas tries to explode to his feet, but Carmont rushes in to try and hold him there. Carmont tries to scoop him back down and Costas jumps into a guillotine attempt. Carmont is free and goes back to working the ground and pound. Carmont stacks him. Costas looking for an arm. 90 seconds left. Carmont on top in half guard landing elbows and punches. Carmont postures up with big punches. Carmont gets full mount. Big hammerfist. PMN sees it 10-9 and 30-27 for Carmont.

Matt Mitrione vs. Brendan Schaub

Round 1 – Schaub grazes Mitrione with a right, these guys are throwing big heat. Mitrione stalking. Inside leg kick from Mitrione. Nice overhand right from Schaub. Big right hand from Schaub. Mitrione still stalking, leg kick. Mitrione bleeding. Stuffs a takedown attempt. Leg kick from Mitrione. Schaub shoots, stuffed. Mitrione stalking, feints. Big punch combo from Schaub, Mitrione blocks them and smiles at Scuab who picks him up for the big slam. Now on top in half guard. Schaub locks on a D’arce, Mitrione says he’s okay, but a few moments later and he is unconscious. They hug it out and Mitrione congratulates him.

Champ Renan Barao vs. Eddie Wineland

Round 1 – Leg kick Barao inside. Wineland using feints. Inside leg kick. Barao thicker but Wineland looks very strong. Nice right from Wineland. Barao shoots, stuffed. Wineland presses him to the cage. Stalemate. Ref separates them. Head kick attempt from Barao, Wineland pushes him to the ground as the foot gets caught on his shoulder. Leg kick Barao, counter right, body shot from Wineland. Wineland easily avoids a spinning back kick. Nice three strike punch kick combo from Wineland. Leg kick Barao. Right to the body from Wineland. Barao shoots, shoved aside. Right hand from Barao, leg kick. Left to the body, overhand right lands in the neck area. Nice left right counter from Wineland as Barao connects with a combo. Leg kick Barao. Another one two from Barao. Close round but PMN sees it for Wineland 10-9.

Round 2 – Body kick Barao. Nice left to the body from Wineland. Spinning back kick lands in Wineland’s face and drops him, he’s hurt BADLY. He can’t recover and the ref is forced to save him as Barao lands a couple big punches. AMAZING!! That’s what 31 wins in a row looks like folks!! Geezus.

Again, again. Couple leg kicks from Alex. Nice left from Jones to the chin. Right from Alex. Inside leg kicks from both. Nice jab from Alex. Body kick from Jones. Big right from Alex lands glancingly on Jones’ chin. Left from Alex. Body jab. Jones is cut over his right eye. Nice striking combo from Alex. Spinning back kick from Jones scores. High kick, leg kick from Jones. Nice punch combo, overhand right from Alex. Jones is in a fight. They trade leg kicks. Jones with the leg kick. Spinning back kick from Jones. Alex scores a takedown on Jones with a minute to go. Jones gets up fairly quickly. JOnes stalking, Alex takes a poke in the eye. First time Jones has EVER been taken down in the UFC. Ref Big John warns them both about sticking their fingers out. Spinning elbow by Jones, body kick. Big elbow from Jones after Alex stuffs a takedown. Close round but PMN gives the round to Alex 10-9.

Round 2 – Jon’s cut is leaking even before the round starts. Nice inside leg kick from Jones. His corner told him to calm down between rounds. Alex catches a kick and sweeps the back leg. Jones rushes after him for a takedown but Alex stuffs is. Jones gets a clinch, can’t get the takedown though. Alex is proving to be the real deal here. Has stuffed five takedowns. Nice big left hand from Jones. Alex using good footwork and angles. Alex showing very good hands. Big body kick from Jones. Alex checks a leg kick. Jones stalking. Lands a head kick cleanly. Alex shoots, stuffed. Both guys throwing big punches. Great fight. Alex is rising to the occasion here. Big leg kick. Showing the jab. Head kick from Jones, Alex catches it. Jones flips out of it. Alex stuffs another takedown. One two from Alex. Body kick. Inside leg kick from Jones. Nice head kick from Jones. Alex walks through it. Uppercut from Alex. Nice overhand right from Alex. Almost too close to  call that round but PMN sees it for Alex 10-9.

Round 3 – Leg kick from Jones. Big right and right uppercut from Alex. Inside leg kick from Jones. Alex checks the next one. Alex stuffs another takedown. Nice left jab to the body then to the head from Alex. Right hand over the top. Jones kicks the knee, then the head. Alex with body jab, left to the head. Nice front kick to the body from Jones. Body kick, leg kick from Alex. Nice double left jab from Alex, right uppercut, left jab. He clearly has the better hands. Head kick from Jones. Jones kicks the knee and hyper extends it. Front kick to the body, really mixing it up. Missed an axe kick. Body kick from Jones lands solid. Side kick to knee from Jones. Alex has slowed a bit now. Lands a punch combo though. Alex shoots, stuffed. Nice left from Alex. Alex catches a kick. lets it go and lands a right and a leg kick. Jab, elbow. Spinning elbow from Jones but Alex grabs a body lock and looks for the takedown. Stuffed. Jones lands a left before the bell. Another close round. PMN sees it 10-9 for Alex.

Round 4 – I have never seen this kind of dejected look on Jon Jones’ face. Nice left hook from Jones. Overhand right from Alex. Leg kick. Leg kick, body jab. Nice right from Jones. Right from Alex. Overhand right from Alex. Nice jab from Jones. Alex tags him back with a nice combo. This reminds me of Rocky and Apollo Creed. Big leg kick from Jones inside. Nice counter left jab from Alex. Two inside leg kicks from Jones. Jones shoots, stuffed. Big counter left from Alex, a right, left to the body, body kick. He’s teeing off now. Jones is in the fight of his life. He may in fact need a REAL loss to evolve. Just like Alex did. Left from Jones. Jones’ face bleeding badly now over his right eye. Alex lands a big combo. Jones shoots, stuffed one more time. That was a desperation shot. Head kick from Jones scores. Jones stalking. Jab from Alex. Nice left from Jones. Jones looks at the clock. He lands a  spinning elbow that hurts Alex. He tries to escape. Jones tries to take him down. Stuffed. Jones hurts him with more strikes but can’t finish. Alex is stumbling. Time is up. WOW!! Fight of the year right here!  PMN scores it 10-9 for Jon Jones.

Round 5 – Jones may need to finish this fight to win. The crowd is going nuts. Alex looks okay. Body jab. Left hook. Right left combo. Body kick from Jones, leg kick. Jones flat footed. Big uppercut from Alex in the clinch. Nice counter left from Alex as Jones lands a Superman punch. Big step in elbow from Jones. Clinch uppercuts from Alex, grabs a single, can’t get Jones down. Jones shoots deep and gets Alex on his back on his 10th attempt of the fight. Alex gets right to his feet using the cage. Alex escapes to the center. They square up. Jones lands a head kick, Alex eats it and returns a couple uppercuts from the clinch. Another head kick from Jones. Alex puts his hands on his hip for a moment. He’s in trouble. Trying to hide it though. Spinning elbow from Alex. Inside leg kick from Jones. Big body kick from Jones. Combo from Alex. Another head kick from Jones. This may be the best fight I’ve ever seen. At least the best I remember right now. Another head kick from Jon. Again, and an elbow to follow. Jones shoots, stuffed. Flying knee from Jones lands on the chin. PMN sees the round 10-9 for Jones but the fight 48-47 for Gustafsson. These guys should train together regardless of the decision… just like Rocky and Apollo…

Following Jones’ post-fight interview he’s booed by the entire arena. Alex was very gracious in his defeat. The crowd cheers Alex’s interview. He doesn’t put on any airs, I think that’s the difference.

Glover Teixeira will be the next man to face Jon Jones for the title.
