UFC officials have announced two more fights for the December 28th event that will be headlined by the huge rematch between UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman and challenger Anderson Silva.
UFC featherweight contender Dustin Poirier (14-3) will take on TUF winner Diego Brandao (18-8) in a clash of up and coming fighters. Poirier was victorious in his last outing against Erik Koch, and Brandao has rattled off three consecutive wins since losing to Darren Elkins after gassing halfway through the fight.
TUF runner-up Uriah Hall (7-4) will get another opportunity to live up to the hype he created on the reality show when he takes on TUF 1 alum Chris Leben (22-10) in a middleweight scrap. Hall has now dropped two fights in the UFC and will likely be cut with a loss to Leben. Leben has lost three consecutive fights and four of his last five fights in the octagon.
UFC 168 takes place December 28, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tentative UFC 168 fight card can be seen below:
