UFC officials have announced that lightweights Gray Maynard and Nate Diaz will meet for the third time at the TUF 18 Finale on November 30 in Las Vegas.
These two have actually already fought twice with each fighter winning one bout apiece respectively. The first match was during the semifinals of TUF 5 where Diaz submitted Maynard in a bout that was considered an ‘exhibition’. However, Maynard edged Diaz when it mattered most, winning a split decision in 2010.
Both fighters are coming off TKO/KO losses in their respective bouts as Maynard lost against TJ Grant and Diaz lost against Josh Thomson.
