On Sept. 4 The Ultimate Fighter 18: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate will premiere on the new FOX Sports 1 channel. UFC women’s Bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey will pit her team of four women and four men against the team of her arch nemesis Miesha Tate. UFC President Dana White has been quoted as saying about the filming of the show that Rousey and Tate “bring out the worst in each other”. That will make for good TV. And then when they fight at the culmination of the season, they will bring out the best in each other inside the Octagon — and that will also make for good TV.
“This will be the biggest coach rivalry ever in the history of the UFC.”

As Ronda states in the following TUF 18 video preview, somehow fate has intertwined these two ladies and they were meant to be rivals. The date for their rematch is set for Dec. 28, but the drama begins on Sept. 4 with The Ultimate Fighter 18 on FOX Sports 1. On a side note, as the official team rosters have yet to be announced, take a look at this video preview and you will notice a few of the ladies and men who obviously made it on the show. On a side side note, if scientists could bottle and sell Rousey’s intensity it would instantly solve the crack epidemic in this country.
