[ads1]fabricio werdumUFC heavyweight Fabricio Werdum (16-5-1)  will not only get the opportunity to avenge a loss, but will get the chance to move one step closer to a potential  title shot when he faces Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (34-7-1, 1 NC) this weekend in the UFC on FUEL TV 10 main event in Fortaleza, Brazil.

The two first squared off in the Pride 2006 Openweight Grand Prix Quarterfinals in July 2006, but Werdum was not prepared for the experience level of Nogueira at the time and ended up losing a unanimous decision.

Werdum feels it will be a different story this time around as he has become a much more complete fighter. Having spent the last five years developing his Muay Thai with Rafael Cordeiro, improving his wrestling with Kenny Johnson, and working on his jiu-jitsu with Cobrinha, Werdum is confident he has what it takes to defeat Nogueira and advance toward an eventual shot at UFC gold.

The oddsmakers have Werdum as the favorite at -290 compared to Nogueira at +230. Do you agree? Who you got?
