Fight Announcement

So, if you haven’t heard already, I took another short notice fight. Same reasons as the last time, a couple of opponents dropped out for whatever reason; when they contacted my manager, he figured work is work and we accepted it.

I will be fighting in the Sugar Creek Showdown 17, this Saturday, June 1st at the Sugar Creek Casino, in Hinton, Okla. My opponent Alida Gray is out of Texas, and I hear it’s a title fight at 115lbs. My buddy Jack always loves to do a little write up on my upcoming fights, sometimes even being able to get a quote or two, or three…from them.

She stated that I’m, “not a big deal. I see her as an amateur fighter with a pro career.” Oh, and. “on June 1st, Vidonic will make my name be known!! My goal right now is to get to Invicta and I see this match up as an opportunity to get there.”

So, she thinks of me as a stepping stone to Invicta? Well they will be happy to have her either way, however, if she enters their cage next, she WILL be coming off a loss. I have much larger dreams for myself than that, so have at it! I will keep my future homes open for the UFC and Bellator!! See you soon!! Oh and here is a link to Jack’s article.

My Training and Diet Diary for 5/20/13 – 5/24/13

FYI: Before each workout I take my pre workout drink ~ Nutrabio’s Extreme Nitric Stack (Kiwi Strawberry)L-Proline  and BCAA 5000 . After each workout I drink a Whey Protein Isolate shake, also made by Nutrabio with ATP Evolution (a post workout recovery). As well as my other supplements with breakfast and dinner.

Monday 5-20-13
8AM: Rode the bike for 20min, did some stretching, about 15mins. Did boxing practice for 1.5hrs, then started my strength training.
Tricep Press ~ 45#KB 5×12
Incline Press ~ 35# dumbbells 3×10
100 GHD situps

7PM: While Jason taught the kids class, I rode the bike for 15min, stretched about 10min, then messed around exercising till 8.

8PM: Cardio/Conditioning: 3rnd ~ bear-crawl 1/2 the gym & back x2, long jump 1/2 the gym & back, sprint full gym length & back x2. All with my Training Mask 2.0 at the highest setting.

Time for training ~ Ground and Pound drills, then rolling with strikes.

Meals:
Breakfast ~ 2 egg whites, 1/2 avo, 1 carrot, handful of spinach
Lunch ~ 4oz chix, 1/2 sw potato, 1/2 avo, handful of spinach & handful of raw unsalted nuts.
Dinner ~ 4oz chix, 1/2 sw potato, 1/2 avo and a handful of spinach.

Tuesday 5-21-13
8AM: Rode the bike for 20min, stretched and got ready to do Crossfit Hero WOD Jorge. I RX’d 23:17! The woman’s RX at our gym is 115lbs.
50 Pull ups with 5#ankle weights on.

8PM: Rode the bike for 25min, stretched for 20min, then did some stand up rounds.

Meals:
Breakfast ~ 2 egg whites, 1/2 avo, 1 carrot, handful of spinach
Snack ~ 4 sweet peppers and 1/3C raw nuts.
Snack ~ hanful of spinach & 1/4 avo.
Dinner ~ 4oz chix, 1/2 sw potato, 1/2 avo and a handful of spinach.

Wednesday 5-22-13
8AM: Morning off.

8PM: Rode the bike for 25min, did a 5min warm up before Cardio.
Cardio/Conditioning: 3 rounds~ 3 Pullups, 3 Long Jumps, low crawl to mid gym, 3 35#KB Push Press, run to far end of gym do 3 Wall Balls, run 3 laps back & forth across the gym, 3 Box Jumps, with my Training Mask 2.0 at the highest setting.
Training: Ground Technique, rolled w/Ferg & Wyatt.

Meals:
Late Breakfast/Early Lunch ~ 1/2 sweet pot with 1/2T butter, 4oz chix, 1/2 avo, handful of spinach.
Snack ~ 1/4C raw nuts
Dinner ~ 4oz chix, 1/2 sw potato, 1/2 avo and a handful of spinach.

Thursday 5-23-13
8AM: Bike for 15min and stretch for 20, rowed 2K meters, then time to lift.
Toe2Bar ~ 5#ankle weights 100 reps
GHD Situps ~ 20#vest 100 reps

8PM: Bike for 15min and stretch for 10.
Doing some more cardio to shed some pounds for this fight. Thanks Ferg, for doing it with me!
Cardio: Ride the bike till Ferg rowed 40 calories, 5 Pullups, 20 Airsquats, hit the bag for 1 min, 5 Pullups, 20 Airsquats. 3 Rounds
Training: Rolled with Ferg

Meals:
Breakfast ~ 2 egg whites, 1/2 avo, 1/2 carrot, handful of spinach
Lunch ~ 3oz chix, 1/3 sweet pot, 1/4 avo.
Snack ~ handful of spinach
Dinner ~ 4oz shrimp, 1/2 avo, 1/2 sweet pot, 1/2 carrot, handful of spinach.

Friday 5-24-13
8AM: Bike for 20min, rowed 1K meters and stretch for 20.
Our gym was honoring Memorial Day by doing a 21 Gun Salute WOD with proceeds going to Team RWB, it was a partner WOD, so Ferg & I decided to do that, it was FUN!!
21 Pullups, 21 20″ Box Jump Burpees, 21 Fireman squats, 21 20″ Box Jump Burpees, 21 Pullups.
4 rounds partners completed full rounds alternating. We got 29:05!

8PM: Bike for 20min, rowed 2K meters and stretch for 20.
Open Mat ~ Rolled with Ferg and Yardley.

Meals:
Breakfast ~ 2 egg whites, 1/2 avo, 1/2 carrot, handful of spinach
Lunch ~ 2oz shrimp, 1/4 sweet pot.
Snack ~ handful of spinach & 1/3 avo.
Dinner ~ 3oz chix, 1/2 avo, 1/2 carrot, 1/3 sweet pot, & spinach.
