Cage_Warriors_LogoEuropean MMA promotion, Cage Warriors Fighting Championship (CWFC), have added three new fighters to their already talent filled roster. Valentino Petrescu (12-3), Spencer Hewitt (10-5) and Chad Griffiths (4-0) have all joined the organization on five-fight deals, committing them exclusively to the organization for the next 18 months.

CWFC officials confirmed the new signings today via official press release.

Middleweight fighter and former TUF contestant, Valentino Petrescu, last fought at OMMAC 16 in March, where he dropped a split decision loss against Lee Chadwick. Prior to that he had been on a three fight winning streak, defeating notable fighters such as Maxim Neledv, Joao Paulo de Souza and Stuart Tyrie during 2011.

British bantamweight fighter, Spencer Hewitt, is currently on a two fight losing skid, most recently dropping a first round KO loss against Cory Tait at UCMMA 33 in April. Prior to that he suffered a first round submission loss against James Doolan at BAMMA 11 in December 2012. That loss followed a first round submission victory over Cameron Else at UCMMA 30 in October 2012.

Undefeated featherweight, Chad Griffiths, is currently riding a four fight winning streak, most recently defeating Arunas Klimavicius via first round TKO at CFC 13 in July 2012. Prior to that he scored a third round TKO victory over Huseyin Garabet at UCMMA 20 in May 2011, and landed back-to-back first round submission wins over Eimantas Grazulis and Mohammed Ali.

Information on when the three men will make their promotional debuts should become available very soon. It will be interesting to see which fighters the Cage Warriors matchmakers choose to take on the new English-based trio of talent.
