It has been a relatively quiet week in the world of MMA. There have been no major MMA events, mainly in part because of the NCAA Basketball Tournament which could have a major impact on TV ratings. There have been details revolving “WeightGate” coming out of the Nick Diaz camp.
However, the fact of the matter is Georges St-Pierre made weight and beat Diaz decisively. If the commission made up or relaxed some rules, which is the primary issue, then it’s up to the commission to be consistent with the rules they are supposed to enforce.
