Glory Sports International heads to England tonight for GLORY 5 at the Excel Arena in London. Tyrone Spong will take on Remy Bonjasky in the night’s heavyweight main event.

Also, British fighter Jordan Watson will face Steve Moxon in a lightweight battle. Andy Ristie takes on Albert Kraus in a light weight match-up, and Liam Harrison meets Mosab Armani in a featherweight bout. GLORY 5 play-by-play:

Nicola Gallo vs. Jonatan Oliveira

Round 1 – The fight begins and the guys go back and forth with their striking. Jonatan scores a knockdown. They engage again, Johnatan works his striking and scores another knockdown. Jonatan throws a knee and drops to the ground bringing Gallo with him. The guys exchange punches with Jonatan being the more sharper and accurate of the two. The round ends.

Round 2 – Gallo starts off well mixing up his punches with leg kicks. Gallo has begun to find his range and begins throwing some nice strikes which cause Jonatan to close up and defend. They exchange strikes, then Gallo lands a low knee causing a brief break in action. They go back and forth with Gallo still landing more shots. Gallo remains fairly dominant until the round comes to a close.

Round 3 – Gallo begins the round well by throwing some nice punching combinations mixed with the occasional leg kick. Jonatan is looking tired. Gallo works the strikes and lands another accidental low blow causing a brief pause in action. They restart and Jonatan looks tired, Gallo tries to land some combinations and uses the clinch well to land some knees. The round ends.

Reece McAllister vs. Tim Thomas

Round 1 – They engage and begin to go back and forth, trying to find their range. Tim throws some nice strikes with Reece using his kick more to begin attacks. Tim throws a body kick that Reece catches, then he throws a punch and drops Thomas to the ground. Reece mixes his strike to leg kick combinations well. A pretty even round comes to an end.

Round 2 – They go back and forth with their strikes. Reece throws a nice leg kick and uses the punch to leg kick combinations well again. Thomas throws a couple of punches that land to the head. Tim attempts to throw that leg kick, but Reece does well to catch it and launch his strikes. Reece lands a few strikes to the head before the round comes to a close.

Round 3 – Both fighters come out swinging. They are both throwing some big strikes and seem to have renewed energy. Reece lands and accidental low blow which causes a brief pause in action.  They restart and Reece works his punches well and pushes forward. Tim tries to fire back and lands some strikes, but Reece is first to the punch. Reece lands a nice kick that drops Tim. They restart and Tim lands a nice punch to the head. They clinch up exchange and the fight comes to an end. An exciting final round.

Constantin Pasniciuc  vs. Johann Fauveau

Round 1 – Johann starts with a flurry of punches. They go back and forth exchanging punches and kicks. Johann lands a low blow causing a brief pause on action. Constantin begins to loosen up and throws some nice strikes. He then throws some punches followed by a nice head kick. They exchange punches, Constantin comes out with some nice head shots and body blows. The round ends.

Round 2 – They go back and forth, Johann lands a strong body kick, but Constantin returns fire with a nice combination of strikes. They begin going punch for punch, exchanging quite evenly. They are both mixing up their kick and punch combinations well. Johann makes good use of the leg kick. They exchange. The round ends.

Round 3 – Johann begins with a nice punching combo, but follows with an accidental low kick which causes a pause in action. Both guys are really going for it now. Constantin presses forward throwing some nice high kicks, but Johann returns with some strong knees, followed by a nice combination of punches to the body. They both attempt head kicks that miss, then Johann pushes forward throwing some big punches. They both seem to be getting tired, but still exchanging. Johann throws multiple high kicks, then the round ends.

Daniel Sam vs. Jaideep Singh

Round 1 – The fight begins and both fighters try and find their range. Sam throws a nice leg kick. They go back and forth with their striking. Sam lands some nice punches to the head. Singh presses forward throwing some strikes. Sam lands a strong body kick, then lands a nice combination of punches that rock Singh. He makes it through the count and they restart. Sam throws another big shot, they clinch and break. They go back and forth until the round ends.

Round 2 – Sam presses forward and land some strikes. They move into the center and Singh lands a nice striking combo. Singh presses forward and starts to work the strikes. Sam returns with some big punches. They clinch up and Singh lands some nice knees to the body. Singh continues to press the action and throws shots to both the head and the body. Sam opens up and throws a big head shot. Singh clinches up and throws some knees. The round comes to a close.

Round 3 – Both men look much more tored now as they begin to exchange. Sam throws a strong straight body kick followed by a shot to the head which rocks Singh. He makes it through the count and they restart. Sam throws a nice body shot followed by a punch to the head. Sam works the jab, then Singh clinches up and throws some knees to the body. They go back and forth. The fight comes to an end.

Mosab Amrani vs. Liam Harrison

Round 1 – They exchange strikes and Harrison works some leg kicks. Amrani throws some nice uppercuts. Amrani then begins a strong combination of strikes ending with a devastating body shot that drops Harrison, which ends the fight.

Michael Dutt vs. Dustin Jacoby

Round 1 – Jacoby begins by throwing some front kicks to the body. Jacoby throws some nice counter punches as Dutt is coming in. Jacoby throws some strong body shots, but Dutt catches him with a stiff punch coming out. He makes it through the count. They restart and Dutt catches him with a another shot that drops him. They restart once more and Dutt finishes the fight with a lovely left to the head, which drops Jacoby.

Stephane Susperregui vs. Danyo Ilunga

Round 1 – The fighters exchange strikes. Both men are mixing up the punches well with leg kicks. Ilunga throws a strong leg kick. Stephane returns fire with some nice punches. Ilunga presses forward, but Stephane keeps coming back. Ilunga throws some strong punches that appear to hurt Stephane. He tries to follows up and lands a punch that rocks Stephane against the ropes. Stephane recovers and they go back and forth until the round ends.

Round 2 – Ilunga comes out strong, throws a straight right followed by a perfectly timed knee to the head of Susperregui. He doesn’t make it through the count. The fight ends.

Eddie Walker vs. Stephen Wakeling

Round 1 – Wakeling starts with some nice leg kicks. He throws the jab and continues to use the leg kick, which seems to be quite effective. Walker throws a front kick, but Wakeling keeps firing back with that devastating leg kick. He drops Walker. They restart and go back and forth. They clinch up and Wakeling works some knees. Wakeling continues to punish Walkers legs with some really strong kicks, until he drops. He makes it through the count, they restart and then the round ends.

Round 2 – Wakeling wastes no time and goes to work with the leg kicks. He lands a really strong one and the ref gives Walker the count. They restart and now Wakeling begins to work some leg kicks on the other leg. He really is putting on a leg kick/Muay Thai clinic. He throws a big leg kick that drops Walker and he is unable to return to his feet. The fight ends.

Warren Stevelmans vs. Albert Kraus

Round 1 – Both fighters go back and forth with their striking. Warren mixes up his punches well. Kraus returns with a nice body kick. Warren throws some big strikes, but Kraus fires straight back. Warren starts to throw some nice leg kicks. The men go back and forth until the round comes to an end.

Round 2 – The fighters throw some strong and hard kicks. Kraus begins to open up and starts to work some nice striking combinations. There seems to be some damage above Warren’s left eye. Kraus is getting the upper hand with the striking now and begins to push forward. Kraus continues to work his strikes with Warren returning fire just before the round ends.

Round 3 – The third starts quite evenly with both men going back and forth with their strikes. Warren throws a good leg kick, but Kraus presses forward with his striking combinations. Kraus throws some jabs followed by a nice body shot, he then repeats the combination but finishes with a body kick. Kraus begins to tee off on Warren and continues to ware away at Warren with his punches. Kraus finishes the round with a flurry of punches.

Steve Moxon vs. Jordan Watson

Round 1 – Jordan throws a front body kick, but is met with a flurry of punches coming in. Jordan trips Steve to the ground. They restart and begin to go back and forth with their striking. Jordan presses forward, but Steve responds by throwing back some hard punches. Jordan uses the clinch to land some nice knees and throws Steve to the ground. Jordan works some nice body kicks. Steve presses forward with some punches, they clinch up. The round ends.

Round 2 – Jordan throws a nice straight body kick. They clinch up and are separated. Jordan throws a combo of kicks, then Steve returns with some punches to the head. Jordan goes for a flying knee, they clinch up and are separated. Steve tries to work his punches. They clinch up and Jordan lands multiple knees to the body. Steve ends the round with a nice uppercut and some good strikes, but Jordan doesn’t seem phased and comes forward. The round ends.

Round 3 – Steve starts the round well by landing some nice punches to the head. They clinch up and are separated. They go back and forth with their strikes and clinch up. Steve continues to work his striking, but Jordan throws some nice counter punches and kicks. Steve is focusing a lot more on his punches with Jordan attempting to fight back with some punch and kick combos. They exchange with strikes until the round ends.

Tyrone Spong vs. Remy Bonjasky

Round 1 – Bonjasky begins with some nice kicks to the body and he throws a head kick. Spong lands some nice body punch combinations. Bonjasky throws a bod kick, Spong catches it and Bonajsky trips to the ground. They go back and forth with their strikes. Spong lands some nice shots to the body. Spong continues to go for the body, but Bonjasky counters with a high kick. They go back and forth with kicks, The round ends.

Round 2 – Bonjasky works some nice body and head kicks. Spong fires back with some nice body punches and kicks. They go back and forth, then Spong presses forward with Bonjasky against the ropes. Bojasky throws a knee to the body, then Spong throws a big right that drops Bonjasky to the canvas. Bonjasky is out. The fight ends.
