rick_storyUFC welterweight Rick Story is not too happy about Jake Ellenberger getting tons of love after his impressive first round knockout win over former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nate Marquardt at UFC 158. In fact, he took to his personal Facebook page to voice his displeasure and call out Ellenberger:

I want to fight Jake Ellenberger! It pisses me off that he’s getting all of the accolades when I already beat him. It’s annoying that people keep making the excuse for Jake “well that was earlier in your guy’s career”.
OK, even back then he had 3 times the amount of fights that I had.

Also, let’s look at more recent times, he got Ko’d by Martin Kampmann in the 2nd round where as I went the distance with Kampmann with 1 leg.

The bottom line is I want to be in the position he is in right now and if I have to beat his ass again to get there…… Then Let’s do it!

The two fighters fought in 2008 at a Sportsfight event in Portland, Oregon. Story won the fight via unanimous decision in just his seventh fight compared to Ellenberger’s 21st fight. Story has gone (8-4) in the UFC and is the only fighter to defeat current number one contender Johny Hendricks. Ellenberger is (8-2) in the UFC with arguably his biggest win being over former number one contender Jake Shields.

Story was also victorious on the UFC 158 card, defeating Quinn Mulhern via TKO in the first round. It was a nice rebound win for him after losing to Demian Maia at UFC 153.
