UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will be a coach on the next season of “The Ultimate Fighter”.

The winner of the upcoming Miesha Tate/Cat Zingano fight that will take place at the TUF 17 Finale in April will be the opposing coach.

UFC President Dana White made the announcement on FX prior to the main card of the UFC 158 PPV getting underway. White has hinted at an announcement via his Twitter account earlier in the evening.

The season will feature both male and female bantamweights competing on this season which will be a first for the “The Ultimate Fighter” show which first aired in 2005.

Rousey successfully defended her UFC women’s bantamweight title for the first time, submitting Liz Carmouche in the main event of UFC 157 in February.
