Cage_Warriors_LogoCAGE Warriors Fighting Championship will return to the Middle East on Saturday, May 11, 2013, for CWFC Fight Night 8 in Al Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.

CWFC Fight Night 8, which will be stacked with some of the organisation’s top international talent, will be the first mixed martial arts event ever to be held in Al Fujairah, which is one of the seven Emirates in the UAE.

Cage Warriors has already staged seven events in the region since 2011, with Jordan, Lebanon, Bahrain and UAE having previously tasted CWFC action.

The organisation’s last trip to UAE came exactly a year ago this weekend when Dubai hosted CWFC Fight Night 4, an event which featured the likes of Brad Scott, Phil Harris and Sheila Gaff, who have all since moved to the UFC.

CWFC Fight Night 8 will follow hot on the heels of Cage Warriors 54, which takes place seven days earlier at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales (Saturday, May 4, 2013).

“We’re very much looking forward to being back in the Middle East for what will be a historic event on May 11,” said Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan.

“We had some incredible shows throughout the region last year but we’ll be bringing something special to Al Fujairah for our fourth show of 2013. Bringing Cage Warriors to new destinations is a priority for us.

“In the last few months we’ve received a lot of messages from fans in the Middle East looking for us to come back. We’re delighted to be doing so on May 11 and I can assure those fans that this will be a show they won’t want to miss.
