We didn’t know if Nick Diaz was going to make it to today’s UFC 158 pre-fight press conference in Montreal (watch video). People were making bets on whether the volatile Stockton fighter would show up after missing Wednesday’s open workouts.
But Diaz made it, and he took up right where he left off on the now infamous UFC 158 conference call last week. He fired off insults and ridicule at champ Georges St-Pierre, who sat stoically looking like he would either grow a tumor or explode if he had to listen to one more minute of Diaz.
Although they cut it a little short, everyone made it through the press conference and no one got beat up or even pushed. Of course Nate Marquardt and Jake Ellenberger didn’t get any questions once again, but they did square off for photo ops. UFC 158 co-headliners Johny Hendricks and Carlos Condit were also on the panel.
