This weekend ONE Fighting Championship will crown their first-ever featherweight champion. “ONE FC 7: Return of Warriors” will broadcast LIVE via online Pay-Per-View Saturday, Feb. 2, at www.onefc.livesport.tv for $9.99.
The event, being held at Putra Indoor Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is headlined with a featherweight championship match-up between undefeated Eric “The Natural” Kelly (9-0) and Honorio “The Rock” Banariowill (7-1).
Kelly, the reigning URCC featherweight champion, has won three straight bouts inside the ONE FC cage, most recently knocking out former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver this past August.
Banariowill has finished all seven of the opponents he has beaten. He is the reigning URCC lightweight champion and is coming off a third round knockout of Andrew Benibe at “ONE FC: Pride of a Nation”.
“ONE FC: Return of Warriors” will also feature a bantamweight tournament quarterfinal match-up between Australia’s Thanh Vu (2-1) and Arizona’s Ryan Diaz (13-13). As always, mixed martial arts fans can also expect to see several of Asia’s best on the card and rising stars Vuyisile Colossa, Lowen Tynanes, Shinichi Kojima, Rey Docyogen, Gianni Subba and Adam Kayoom.
