Gunnar_NelsonUFC officials have announced that the injury bug has struck once again as Justin Edwards has withdrawn from his UFC on FUEL TV 7 bout against Gunnar Nelson. UFC veteran Jorge Santiago has agreed to step in and face Nelson on short notice according to the UFC UK Twitter account.

Nelson (10-0-1) is coming off a submission win over DeMarques Johnson in his UFC debut after fighting primarily in England. Jorge Santiago will begin his third stint in the UFC. The former Sengoku champion has won back-to-back fights since getting cut from the UFC in October 2011.

UFC on FUEL TV 7 will be headlined by the UFC interim bantamweight title fight between Renan Barao and Michael McDonald. The event will take place at the Wembley Arena in London on February 16. The main card will air on FUEL TV with preliminary bouts airing on Facebook.
