There’s a 99.9% probability that there will never be a man vs. woman bout in the UFC. But there’s also a 99.9% probability that if there ever is, Ronda Rousey would be the first to sign up for it. Gegard Mousasi is fighting on the final Strikeforce card this weekend against Mike Kyle at 205 pounds.
Mousasi is the former Strikeforce light heavyweight champ and he has even fought at heavyweight in the past. Rousey, who has fought at 145 and 150 pounds in the past, is the current UFC women’s 135 pound champ.
Let’s put it this way, not only is Rousey taking on a man in this sparring session at Gokor’s, but she’s taking on a man that out-weighs her by approximately 50-80 pounds pounds. To put it in perspective, imagine if Dominic Cruz fought Jon Jones, except Dominic was a girl.
