UFC President Dana White was the keynote speaker at the New Media Expo earlier this week. He provides the usual background on how he got involved with the UFC and its struggle, then rise to prominence that began with “The Ultimate Fighter”.
He also goes on to talk about why he presents himself the way he does when compared to the way commissioners in leagues like the NFL, MLB, and NBA present themselves in public. He talks about his use of Twitter to interact with fans and how Twitter has changed the game for the UFC. He talks about his dislike of people going out of their way to be politically correct and more.
