Strikeforce officials have released the final card for the Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine event that’s set for January 12 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The event will take place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena and will air on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET. Preliminary action will air on Showtime Extreme beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
This will mark the final event in Strikeforce history, but event will take place during Showtime’s FREE Preview Weekend which will be distributed to over 80 million people nationwide.
Strikeforce welterweight champion Nate Marquardt will put his title on the line against the always tough Tarec Saffiedine in the main event. The co-main event will feature Strikeforce Heavyweight GP winner Daniel Cormier taking on Dion Staring.
