The Invicta FC 4 event is still pretty fresh in our minds from Saturday night. However, that didn’t stop Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp from giving a little promotion to the next Invicta FC event that will take place in April.

According to Knapp, the event will feature two title bouts and the Invicta FC debut of former Strikeforce bantamweight champion Sarah Kaufman (15-2). Kaufman hasn’t competed since losing her Strikeforce title to Ronda Rousey via first round armbar in August. An injury has kept her out of the cage up until now, but no opponent has been named at this time.

Invicta FC atomweight champion Jessica Penne (10-1) is expected to defend the title she won at Invicta FC 3 against an opponent that will be named soon. Also, the inaugural Invicta FC flyweight championship between Vanessa Porto (15-5) and Barb Honchak (7-2) is planned for the card.

No specific date has been set for the event according to Knapp.

The event could be streamed online again, or potentially could air on television if Invicta FC is able to secure a broadcast deal. According to Knapp, the promotion is ‘in talks’ with several options at the moment but would like to sign the ‘right’ deal when that time comes.
