A women’s flyweight fight between Suzie Montero and Pearl Gonzalez has been announced by XFC officials.
The fight will take place at the “XFC 22: Crossing the Line” event that’s set for February 22nd at the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, NC.
The XFC 22 event will air LIVE and FREE on AXStv.
Montero (1-1) comes into this fight off a TKO loss to Jessamyn Duke at the Invicta FC 2 event in July. The American Top Team fighter’s win came over Kim Couture in October 2011. Gonzalez (0-1) comes into this bout off a loss in her only professional MMA fight against Munah Holland in February via majority decision. Gonzalez has an extensive muay thai background and will be looking to get back on track with her first fight under the XFC banner.
