The TUF 16 Finale was an exciting event and four fighters went home richer due to their efforts. Pat Barry, TJ Waldburger, Tim Elliot, and Jared Papazian all took home $40,000 in bonus money for the performances on Saturday night.

Pat Barry took home the “KO of the Night” award for his second round TKO of Shane Del Rosario. Barry had to withstand some ground and pound plus submission attempts to make it to the second round. However, the former kickboxer unleashed a huge right hand that rocked Del Rosario and forced him to retreat against the cage where Barry followed with a barrage of punches that put him away.

TJ Waldburger took home the “Submission of the Night” award for his triangle choke win over Nick Catone. Waldburger stunned Catone with punches before cinching in the triangle choke. Catone fought the choke for a bit before Waldburger made an adjustment which put Catone to sleep before he could tap.

Tim Elliot and Jared Papazian took home “Fight of the Night” honors for their three round affair. Papazian was deducted one point for an illegal knee, but Elliot recovered to dominate the majority of the fight.
