NASHVILLE, Tenn. — ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Gary Thomas caught up with Stephanie “Snowflake” Eggink (2-1) following her Xtreme Fighting Championships debut victory over Heather Jo Clark (5-3) this past Friday night at “XFC 21: Night of Champions 2” in Nashville, Tenn.

Eggink has a boxing background, but also showed her skills on the ground during the fight with multiple submission attempts. She talked about her BJJ training and why she feels just as comfortable on the ground as she does on the feet.

Although she won a decisive victory over Clark at 115 pounds, Eggink explained why fighting at 125 pounds may be the more viable option for her. Eggink called out Felice Herrig (115 lbs.) in her post-fight interview on AXStv, but told us if she moves up to 125 pounds she would like to fight Marianna Kheyfets.

Here’s a tip if you ever find yourself staring across the cage from the “Snowflake”. Don’t let her find her groove. She explained how after she “found her groove” in the second round she was able to go out there and have fun in the third. And evidently when Eggink “has fun” in the cage her opponent ends up looking like they have just been in a car crash.
