ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Anton Skoro recently caught up with UFC heavyweight Travis “Hapa” Browne who was on hand at the inaugural World Series of Fighting event in Las Vegas to corner friend and training partner Andrei Arlovski.

To refresh your memory, Browne (13-1-1) is coming off the first loss of his career when he suffered a first round TKO defeat at the hands of Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva last month in the UFC on FX 5 main event. Browne tore his hamstring early in the opening round and Silva was able to capitalize and put him away.

Browne explained why he feels there would have been a different outcome against Silva had he not got injured:

“I think it definitely would have been a different outcome. I tore it the first 20 seconds into the fight. No excuses and not trying to take anything away from ‘Bigfoot’, he won that fight, but he didn’t beat me. I beat myself in that fight. And if he wants to take that as his victory, then he can, and I’ll be right back and I’ll come after him. That’s the only man in this world that can ever say he stood above me and whipped my ass. So you better believe he’s got a big ass bullseye on that big ass head of his. I’m coming for him.”

Browne also talked about how important a rematch with Silva is to him, what he’s been doing with his time off and when he thinks he’ll be ready to return to action.
