A new bout has been formed for UFC on FOX 5 as Marcus LeVesseur (22-6) faces Michael Chiesa (8-0) in a lightweight match-up. LeVesseur replaces Rafaello Oliveira who was forced to withdraw from the fight due to a broken hand.

The bout has been reported by various sources and Marcus LeVesseur also announced that he will be fighting at the event via his Twitter page.

UFC on FOX 5 will take place at the Key Arena in Seattle, WA, on Dec. 8. The event will feature a headline bout between current UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson and challenger Nate Diaz. The main card will air LIVE on FOX with the prelims set to air on FUEL TV.

Marcus LeVesseur last fought at UFC on FX 5 earlier this month, where he scored a decision victory over Brazilian fighter Carlo Prater. Prior to that he dropped a first round submission loss to Cody McKenzie in his promotional debut at UFC on FUEL TV 3. Before joining the UFC former NCAA Division III champ, LeVesseur, had been on a three fight winning streak, defeating notable fighters such as Dane Sayers, Brian Geraghty and Taurean Bogguess during 2011. Marcus will no doubt look to put another notch in the win column with a good performance against Chiesa.

The Ultimate Fighter 15 winner, Michael Chiesa, was last in action at the show finale, where he scored a first round submission victory over Al Iaquinta in June. Prior to that he had been on a seven fight winning streak, defeating notable fighters such as Evian Rodriguez, Matt Coble and Darrell Fenner. Also, whilst on TUF he defeated Johnavan Vistante, Justin Lawrence and James Vick earning a place in the finals. Chiesa will now look to extend his winning streak to nine with a big win over LeVesseur.
