KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Gary Thomas caught up with Johnson, Tennessee’s Ian Boxhorn (1-1) following his unanimous decision victory over Knoxville’s Chad Perrine (0-3) at “XFC 20: High Octane” Friday night at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium.

Boxhorn discussed his gameplan and his desire to put Perrine on the ground where he felt he would have a distinct advantage. Boxhorn’s last fight was his pro debut way back in 2009. He said he was just happy to get back in there and get a win after such a long layoff. As far as what’s next, Boxhorn said he wants to get right back in the gym, get some more training in and looks forward to stepping back in the cage.
