MMA veteran Lyle Beerbohm signs with World Series of Fighting

Apex Sports Agency (ASA) announced that one of its charges, former Strikeforce lightweight Lyle “Fancy Pants” Beerbohm, has signed with the burgeoning World Series of Fighting (WSOF) promotion. The World Series of Fighting promotion is expected to hold its inaugural show in November which is slated to air on NBC, formerly known as the Versus network.

Beerbohm (19-2) is a Strikeforce and EliteXC veteran with 16 finishes in his 19 career wins. He holds notable wins over the likes of Marcus Aurelio, Duane Ludwig, and Rafaello Oliveira. Beerbohm is also known for his very bright colored pants that he wears during MMA matches which is wear his “Fancy Pants” nickname originated.

Beerbohm commented on signing with WSOF:

I’m excited to be with the WSOF…to be fighting on TV for a promotion that is poised for such big things is awesome. I’m grateful to Jason Chambers and Apex Sports Agency for making this deal possible. Now, I’m ready to bring Fancy Pants to the world!
