So you wanna be a freaking fighter? Do you have what it takes to fight in mixed martial arts’ premiere organization? If you think you just might, then this could be what you’ve been waiting for.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will hold a casting call for season 17 of The Ultimate Fighter reality show on Monday, Sept. 17, in the Grand Ballroom of  Palace Station Hotel at 2411 West Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas.

The tryouts will be for middleweight (185 lbs.) and light heavyweight (205 lbs.) fighters. Registration begins at 8 a.m. PT. Fighters will be required to grapple and hit pads, and are asked to please bring appropriate gear.

IMPORTANT: Applicants will be notified at the end of the tryouts if they have been selected to continue on in the casting process. If selected, applicants will be required to stay in Las Vegas until Saturday, Sept. 22.

The two-hour season premiere of TUF 16 will air Friday, Sept. 14, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. TUF 17 is expected to debut on FX in early 2013. Coaches have not yet been announced.
