UFC fighter Chael Sonnen appeared on ESPN Radio in Los Angeles with Max and Marcellus and talks about a variety of things. Most notably, his belief that Vitor Belfort will not fight Jon Jones at UFC 152, and that he would take his spot against the champion if given the opportunity.

Of course, Sonnen was given the opportunity to fight Jon Jones at the now canceled UFC 151 event, but Jon Jones declined the fight due to only have eight days notice. He talks about why he thinks Dana White called him to take the fight, why he wanted to take the fight, and who he’ll fight next plus more. Check out the audio interview below:

Vitor Belfort has had a history of getting injured, so anything is possible. In fact, Belfort suffered a broken hand in training for his UFC 147 main event fight against Wanderlei Silva which forced him to withdraw from that bout.
