ProMMAnow.com’s Dan “The Wolfman” Theodore caught up with Team Quest welterweight Tarec “The Sponge” Saffiedine (13-3) following his unanimous decision win over Roger Bowling (11-3) at “Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman” in San Diego on Saturday.
Tarec talked about his game plan and thought process during the bout. He also discussed his martial arts background and very effective and technical striking style. As far as what’s next for “The Sponge”, he has his sights set on one goal and that is the Strikeforce 170-pound title currently held by Nate Marquardt.
Tarec also weighs in on his teammate Dan Henderson‘s upcoming title fight with UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and reveals who Hendo has brought in to mimic the long reach of Jones.
