Pro MMA Now Radio returns this evening with three very special guests. Kicking off the show at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT) we’ve got UFC bantamweight champion Dominck Cruz coming on to talk about this weekend’s upcoming interim bantamweight title bout between his old rival Urijah Faber and Renan Barao at UFC 149.
Dominick will likely be fighting the winner of this bout so we definitely want to hear his thoughts on this match-up and whether or not he has a preference on who wins. We will also find out how the Champ’s recovery is coming along after his ACL surgery and find how how soon he might be able to return to action.
And last but not least, we will talk with Dominick about his work with Edge Shave Gel and their partnership with the UFC as he helps mentor and coach four fighters competing for a year-long sponsorship to become the face of “Team Edge 2012”. With “XFC 19: Charlotte Showdown” just a couple weeks away, you can bet we will continue to keep Pro MMA Now Radio stacked with XFC talent. Atlanta’s Joe Elmore (6-4) of X3Sports will be joining us to talk about his upcoming lightweight fight with an unbeaten Kevin Forant (2-0).
Another XFC 19 fighter, Keith Richardson (7-3) of Rockhill, S.C., and fighting out of Modern Warrior MMA, will come on to talk about his upcoming lightweight fight with the Hardcore Gym’s Lawson McClure (8-2). Both, Elmore and Richardson are fighting on the XFC 19 main card which will air LIVE on AXS TV (formerly HDNet) on Aug. 3 from the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, N.C.
