Another fight has been added to the UFC 153 card as former TUF Live contestant Cristiano Marcello (12-4) meets Sweden’s Reza “Mad Dog” Madadi (12-2) in a lightweight bout.

The fight was announced by officials today on UFC.com who confirmed that both fighters have verbally agreed to square off.

UFC 153 will take place on October 13th at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event will feature a headline bout between Jose Aldo and Erik Koch who will battle for the featherweight crown.

The main card will will air LIVE on PPV and will include a light-heavyweight bout between Rampage Jackson and Glover Teixeira, the prelims are expected to air on Facebook and FX/Fuel TV.

Cristiano Marcello last fought at The Ultimate Fighter 15 Finale last month, where he was beaten via KO by Sam Sicilia in his UFC debut. Prior to that he defeated Oriol Gaset via decision at Nitrix Champion Fight 6 in February 2011.

In December 2010 Marcello competed in two fights within the space of just one week, taking on Guido Canetti at Bitetti Combat 8 on the 4th and Freddy Thole at the Desert Force Championship 1 on the 8th winning both via first round submission.

Reza Madadi enters this fight riding a seven fight winning streak, most recently defeating Yoislandy Izquierdo via second round submission in his promotional debut at the UFC on Fuel TV event which took place in Sweden earlier this year. Prior to that Reza won the Superior Challenge Lightweight Championship at Superior Challenge 7 in April 2011, defeating Rich Clementi via unanimous decision.
