UFC President Dana White has been in Australia getting ready for “The Ultimate Fighter: Australia vs. U.K.” a.k.a. “TUF: The Smashes”. White discusses the choosing of Ross Pearson and George Sotiropoulos as coaches, and some of the other fighters they considered as coaches.

White talks about taking the UFC to New Zealand and says fans can “definitely” expect to see and Ultimate Fighter featuring Australia vs. New Zealand sometime in the future.

White says they were supposed to have an Ultimate Fighter Philippines a couple years ago and they had it all set up to do but the sponsorships fell through at the last minute.

White is asked about Soa “The Hulk” Palelei, who has recently been signed to fight Andrei Arlovski at “ONE FC: Pride of a Nation” on Aug. 31. Although White has trouble remembering Palelei’s UFC 79 appearance against Eddie Sanchez  back in 2007, he says “everybody and their mother tweets me about this guy” and says if he defeats Arlovski he will definitely be back on Joe Silva (UFC matchmaker) and the UFC’s radar.
