What’s next for UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva? As “The Spider” continues to knock off and knock out the competition, a new crop of emerging contenders wait in the wings and are battling to see who gets first crack at the champ. On Fuel TV’s UFC 148 post-fight show, Ariel Helwani posed the question of who’s next, and talked about the struggle between contenders Mark Munoz, Hector Lombard, Alan Belcher, Brian Stann and Michael Bisping.

This brings us to “The Count” who comments on Anderson Silva’s performance and victory over Chael Sonnen in the UFC 148 main event.  Bisping feels Sonnen did little more than out-wrestle the champion in round one and feels he will do a much better job against Silva. Bisping also sends a message to Brian Stann, who could be a possible next opponent for “The Count”.

Finally, you know UFC 148 would not be complete without some comments from Sensei Steven Seagal himself who continues to support Anderson Silva and helped him prepare for the rematch with Sonnen. Seagal explained Silva’s strategy from the bottom in round one and also shared his thoughts on the “controversial” knee.
