I wasn’t aware that the UFC was going to do a UFC Primetime series for this rematch, but lo and behold here’s a preview of the trailer below:

UFC 148 will take place on July 7th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will be one of it not the most anticipated rematch in UFC history. UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva will defend his title against Chael Sonnen, the only guy to push him right to the brink of defeat back at UFC 117 before succumbing to a submission in the final round. It’s no secret that UFC 148 is expected to do huge PPV numbers, and I’m a little surprised that it has taken this long for news of a UFC Primetime to become available. The series is usually reserved for the UFC’s biggest PPV cards and this one fits the bill without question. The trash talk is coming from both sides now that Anderson Silva unleashed a verbal tirade towards Sonnen earlier this week, which means this UFC Primetime could be epic television.
