Alistair Overeem breaks silence on failed drug test *VIDEO*

Alistair Overeem was a guest Tuesday evening on UFC Tonight to discuss for the first time elevated testosterone to epitestosterone levels that appeared during a random drug test that was sprung on him by the Nevada State Athletic Commission earlier this year.

Overeem explained the spike in his T/E ratio occurred due to a medication he was taking for an injury. Overeem said he is currently building up the confidence with the commission by doing random monthly tests to prove he is a clean fighter.

Overeem said he has not spoke to UFC President Dana White since the commission hearing but will prove to him through his actions and ramdom testing that he is a legit and clean fighter. The K-1 2010 World Grand Prix champion said he hopes to fight in December, and will fight whoever the UFC wants him to, but his ultimate goal is the UFC heavyweight title and hopes it will be against Junior Dos Santos because he thinks its a fight the fans want to see.
