Undefeated Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (5-0) spoke with UFC Tonight this week about how her life has changed since she won the title by defeating Miesha Tate (12-3) back in March. Her popularity even seems to have surpassed the woman once dubbed “the face of women’s MMA”, Gina Carano.

Helping with that push has been Zuffa, who has really been promoting the Olympic medalist, so much so, that even UFC President Dana White seems to be warming up to the idea of possibly one day having women fight inside the Octagon.

Fuel TV’s Ariel Helwani asked Ronda if she thinks we will ever see women fighting in the UFC:

“I think it’s a distinct possibility,” she said. … “Women are tough, women are clever. We’re going to find a way to get everywhere. So, you can’t stop us. We’ll be here at some point.”
