Today the UFC officially announced The Ultimate Fighter Brazil middleweight final matchup. Serginho Moraes (6-1) will step in to replace an injured Daniel Sarafian against Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira (4-2) at UFC 147.

UFC 147 takes place on Saturday, June 23rd, at the Mineirinho Arena, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The main event will feature a highly anticipated rematch between TUF Brazil coach Wanderlei Silva and former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin. The main card for the event will air on PPV.

Another fight that will feature on the card is Rony “Jason” Mariano Bezerra (10-3) vs. Godofredo Pepey (8-0), these two men will battle it out in the featherweight tournament final.

The last episode of “TUF Brazil” aired on Sunday, June 17th, this is where the last middleweight finalist was announced. Cezar Mutante knocked out fellow contestant Thiado Bodão to earn himself a spot in the middleweight final. Here is what he had to say:

“What I did was focus on my training and what I was going to do out there. The opportunity presented itself at the right moment and I took it”

Mutante defeated Bodão with an impressive high kick that earned him the “Knockout of the Season” award and $45,000 Brazilian Real.

I believe we are likely to see an exciting night of action from a card that features eleven fights, seven of which will include contestants from “TUF Brazil”.
