UFC President Dana White spoke to ProMMAnow.com and a group of reporters following the UFC on FX 3 post-fight press conference about UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones’ DWI arrest and what he makes of the situation.

“You know he’s a young guy and the fame and money and everything has come really quick. And a lot of people don’t really understand how that is and when you take a humiliating hit publicly in front of everybody, you know, he’s kind of hiding right now. He’s laying low and it’s kind of a hard thing to overcome. Trust me, I’ve been there. I’ve been there and done it myself. He’ll learn from this, and we’ll see where it goes from there.”

White went on to talk about the pressure young guys like Jones are under. Especially when they come into money and fame and all the things that come with being a UFC champion. White feels Jones is extremely talented but also feels it is too early to tell where he will ultimately stand among the best of all time and pound-for-pound greats.
