That’s the word from UFC President Dana White after UFC 146 came to an end on Saturday night on Las Vegas, Nevada. Miller who lost a unanimous decision to C.B. Dollaway was also involved in an ‘incident’ backstage that neither White nor Miller’s camp would speak about on record. White spoke on it with reporters after the event:
“Mayhem’s done. He’s gone,” White said, stating the incident was “just some [expletive] that I don’t want to talk about.”
White openly criticized Miller after his last performance in a losing effort against UFC middleweight contender Michael Bisping after the two were opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter reality show. However, Miller was coming off a lengthy layoff and had helped the reality show obtain favorable ratings, and was given another chance to prove he belonged in the UFC.
Against Dollaway it appeared that Miller entered the fight with an apparent knee injury that was heavily bandaged and caused Miller to fall on his own as the knee gave away early in the fight. Miller also showed limited ability to close distance and follow up with punches as he had Dollaway stunned a couple of times in the fight. However, Miller’s antics inside the cage and outside the cage apparently do him no favors with White:
“I’m not into that stuff,” White said. “It’s not my thing. I guess I don’t really care if guys do it because you see it at the weigh-ins all the time. You see stuff like that, but come on, man. Take this thing seriously. You want to be a clown? Do that on your reality show.”
Miller is only 31 years old but is (2-3) in his last five fights and hasn’t looked good at all in any of the three losses.
Is it possible that Bellator could take a chance on the colorful middleweight?
A) White has a history of discounting anyone capable of making money that doesn’t come from his company.
B) EXCEPT when White also is cashing in on it.
