AJ MATTHEWS

Show 140 is kicking off with a prospect everyone should put down on their watch list. He’s already been featured in Sports Illustrated as a prospect to watch in MMA, he won his Pro-Boxing Debut in the 3rd round with a KO, was a dual NCAA athlete, and is getting ready to throw down again in Bellator. AJ Matthews is dropping in on the shop to talk a little about what is in store for him on May 25, as well as being billed a prospect to keep an eye on.

AJ has an interesting story on how he got into the sport. We will talk to him about his journey from a garage to the gym and how his brother helped with all of it. AJ is known for having heavy hands, power in both feet, and a guy who has no problem banging things out. Make sure to tune in to the start of the show and get to know a guy who’s name could be in your mouth for a while. Follow AJ on Twitter @AJ_MMA

ANDREAS SPANG

Our next guest will be Andreas Spang who is coming off his Bellator finals fight. We will talk to him about the fight, what’s next for him, and if there is any bad blood after they get a chance to let things go. Andreas is a great interview and always brings the excitement. I can’t wait to have him on after the biggest fight of his career.

Get ready with all you questions because phone lines will be open all show and I’m sure you got a few for the man who could be the next Bellator Middleweight Tournament Winner. Follow Andreas on twitter @AndreasSpang

STIPE MIOCIC

We thought for the start of hour two we would bring some serious weight to the show, so Stipe Miocic is hitting the shop. Stipe is coming off a KO of Philip De Fries in less then a minute of the first round and I’m sure is ready to welcome Shane Del Rosario to the UFC on May 26. Stipe and Shane will both be looking to keep their records unblemished but only one can walk out of the cage with their record still intact. This is a fight I can’t wait to see and one I’m even more excited to talk to Stipe about. Stipe has been on the show before and that means he had to be solid enough to bring back.

We will talk about his training camp, fighting a guy like Shane, if he thinks ring rust will play into this and much more. I don’t know if thirty minutes will be enough time to talk about this fight and give you some time to get to know Stipe. Either way tune in cause it’s about to get heavy! COACH ADRIAN MELENDREZ

Last guest is a man who is no stranger to working with some of the biggest names in the sport, Coach Adrian Melendrez is finally making his way on the show. Okay so let me break this down for you in case you don’t know who Coach Adrian is… You’ve heard of Dominick Cruz, Phil Davis, Alliance Training Center, how about Coach Eric Del Fierro. Okay well Coach Adrian is the assistant striking coach for all these guys and the gym. Okay so now that you know a little bit let me tell you that this is going to be awesome to finally have Coach A on to talk about everything.

We will talk to him about being out in Vegas for this season of The Ultimate Fighter and working with the guys on the show, keeping things rolling for the rest of his team from Alliance, moving the camp to Vegas, and so much more. Come on, I’m sure I could leave the lines open all show and you the listeners could ask enough questions to do the interview yourselves, don’t worry though we won’t do that.
