Liverpool based newspaper Liverpool Echo is reporting that UFC veteran Paul Kelly was arrested on drug charges after his home and others were raided by Police late Monday night. During the raid, drugs and ammunition were found at the three homes that were raided. Four people were arrested including Kelly, who has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.

From Liverpoolecho.co.uk:

Three men were charged with drug offences last night after raids across Merseyside.

Police swooped in on addresses in Liverpool and Sefton yesterday and arrested six men and a woman after seizing Class A drugs and firearms ammunition.

The force’s Matrix unit supported by neighborhood officers executed the dawn raids and also confiscated large amounts of money.

Cannabis plants were recovered from three West Derby addresses while drugs believed to be heroin were found at a house in Aigburth.

The cash was discovered in houses raided in Old Swan and Melling and ammunition was found in a West Derby property.

Christopher McGirr, 27, of Carina Court, Aigburth, and Paul Kelly, 27, of Swanside Road, Knotty Ash, were charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.

Kelly has apparently already posted bail as he has replied to the charges via Twitter protesting his innocence:
