Another bout has been added to the quickly filling UFC on FOX 4 event that’s set for August 4th. Joe Lauzon has confirmed a bout with Terry Etim via his website earlier today.

The two lightweights were once scheduled to face one another at UFC 118, but injuries to Etim forced him to withdraw from the bout. Both fighters are coming devastating highlight reel knockout losses in their last fights respectively.

Joe Lauzon (21-7) is coming off a head kick KO loss against Anthony Pettis in Japan at UFC 144. Lauzon had won back to back fights leading into the huge fight with Pettis, including a upset submission win over Melvin Guillard. Lauzon is (3-3) in the UFC dating back to 2010.

Terry Etim (15-4) is coming off a headkick KO loss against Edson Barboza at UFC 142. Etim had an impressive win in an earlier bout as he had returned from a year long layoff due to injuries to best Eddie Faaloloto at UFC 138. Etim only has three fights dating back to 2009 and will be looking to get back on track with a win against Lauzon.

The UFC on FOX 4 event will take place in the Staples Center and will be headlined by the UFC debut of former Bellator Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard as he takes on top ten middleweight Brian Stann.
