Straus vs. Sandro featherweight final headlines Bellator 68 on May 11 in Atlantic City

Bellator Fighting Championships returns to Caesars Atlantic City on Friday, May 11, with Bellator 68. The main card will air LIVE on MTV2 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) and in commercial-free HD on EPIX. The preliminary card will stream LIVE and free on Spike.com starting an hour earlier, at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT).

Main Card

Bellator 68′s main event will feature the season six featherweight tournament final between Marlon Sandro (22-3) and Daniel Straus (19-4), with the winner earning $100,000 and a shot at Bellator 145 pound gold.

Also on the card, a season six bantamweight tournament semifinal bout is scheduled with Marcos Galvao (11-5-1) taking on Travis Marx (19-23). Seth “The Kimbo Killer” Petruzelli (14-6) will take on fellow UFC veteran Carmelo Marrero (14-5). And a long-awaited rematch between former DREAM welterweight champion Marius Zaromskis (16-6) and Waachiim Spiritwolf (9-9-1) will also take place.

Preliminary Card

In Bellator 68 preliminary card action, Marcin Held (12-2) will take on New Jersey’s Derrick Kennington (6-2) at lightweight. Philadephia’s Jesus Marinez (6-2) faces “The Burmese Python” Aung La Nsang (9-7) in a175 pound catchweight bout.

New Jersey’s Jeff Lentz (9-2-1) will  square off with submission specialist Eddie Fyvie (9-5) at featherweight in a rematch of a bout that took place almost three years ago that saw Lentz win via first round knockout. Also, Bellator veteran Jacob Kirwan (9-4) takes on newcomer Don Carlos-Clauss (8-6) at lightweight.

Two Bellator veterans, Claudio Ledesma (6-2) and Anthony Leone (10-5), will do battle at bantamweight. And rounding out the card, Gregory Milliard (2-2) returns to the Bellator cage to take on Cameroon’s Francios Ambang (1-3-1) at middleweight.
