On Thursday’s episode of Inside the Cage Radio, host Greg DeLong welcomed guest Stephen Andrews of MMA XM (MMA Xtreme Management) to the show. MMA XM (www.mmaxm.com) is a free mobile device-friendly website that allows mixed martial arts promoters, managers and fighters to create a profile and handle their own contract negotiations.

Managers can create fighter profiles for each of their fighters and handle negotiations on behalf of their fighters. Stephen described MMA XM as “a marketplace for fighters, managers and promoters to do business.”

In addition, Jim Hefferman, head wrestling coach at the University of Illinois, dropped by to talk a little wrestling, wrestling for MMA and how they mix. Jim actually wrestled at the University of Ohio alongside host Greg DeLong and graduated the same year.

Jim was a four-time Big Ten champion, three-time NCAA finalist, one-time NCAA champ and four-time All-American. He also led the “Fighting Illini” to 4th place in The Big Ten this year and 7th place in the Nationals.

Greg also brings listeners up to speed on the latest UFC fight announcements, discusses last week’s UFC Insider episode that featured a segment with former U.S. Marine Corps Captain Brian Stann with actual footage from his time in Iraq. Greg also talked about Ultimate Reno Combat’s upcoming event, Bellator 62, TUF Live episode three and much more.
